Garlic Harvest Season
Our garlic is a thing of beauty this year!
Sylvia has been working hard for this moment when she could clear the harvest in preparation for putting in winter crops probably cabbage while the potato tubs (25 lbs per tub) will be getting more garlic!

The garlic will cure outside for several weeks before being brought in for final drying where it will be usable through the winter. Interestingly it gets hotter over time. In the background you can see our winter heat is on site.

Jealous (and slow to look) but I want to grow my own garlic again. Maybe I'll feel well enough this spring and summer to get out there. Have a wonderful 2013!
