Coda's date with Pepe Le Pew

Coda had a date this week with Pepe Le Pew! 

And yes it has been a while since I posted UCM activities...

It seems that Pepe wanted to move in with Coda under the sun room porch which is one of her favorite places to hang out.  I'm sure she did what a female border collie always does and tried to tell him where to go and where not to go etc. and drove Pepe to the point of exhaustion... not like tired - but exhaust more like a few hours after a bean burrito exhaust only with a fresh spring skunk vengeance! 

Needless to say the Eau de Skunk was/remains considerable around the house and young Coda was the epicenter of the smell along with the point under the porch just outside the door! Eau indeed...

So we broke out the tried and true technique we established with General Lee of creating a stationary point convenient to a warm water hose then liberally dousing with Hydrogen Peroxide then rubbing in shampoo with Baking Soda.  It works great!  At least comparable to where we started.  The efficacy was questioned by some locals who came to the car window later that day to give the traditional hello with an ear scratch and a face lick.  Only this time, about three seconds later, they were a dozen paces away from the car going Eewww!  Ah well compared to earlier she did not smell at all!
