We kicked off Valentines week here in Bandon at a winemaker's dinner. Here we sit happily awaiting a 7 course meal, each course paired with one, sometimes two wines. That made for about eight generous glasses of the most delicious wine. (The after photo is a bit more buoyant) We were seated with a wonderful group of folks from Bandon who truly enjoyed the food and wine and laughter too. A deligthfully sophisticated evening at the otherwise quite wild Oregon coast! When your menu includes Foie Gras or Shore Pine Granita with Oregon Truffles you know your are looking at world class cuisine. The complete menu is below. Valentines week will conclude on Valentines Day with a meal at "The Wild Rose" the best restaurant in town.

I made a major mistake by reading the menu in a state of being hungry. Now I'm REALLY hungry. Sounds delicious indeed, an after dinner photo would have been interesting as well...;-)
